It's not about the money. IT'S ABOUT THE DEAL.

Dear readers,
As u all know, I've been studying and working on weekends for roadshow, every single cent i earned means a lot to me. I've been saving money to go on holiday with my baby and also to earn extra money to spend/pamper myself! ♥

But, one of the thing i'm afraid most when working for companies/event companies is, not getting my pay.

There are two scenario i'm facing now,

First, worked from an event company "x", the last day of my job was 2 to 3 months ago, and they promise they will pay one or two days right after the event, but until now it's already almost 1 month & 2 weeks since after the last day of the event.

Been calling them for the past few weeks, kept promising they will pay me, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? THE WORST THING IS THAT, they don't even know the promoters' details, working days that they even have to ask me to help them find their contact number. One biggest mistake the company did was probably hiring the wrong guy to be in charge of such "big" responsibility.

Second scenario was, there was this company "A" who promised us RM120/day, T-SHIRT, shorts and heels. WORKING HOURS FROM 11AM - 9 PM.
It was during last month. (click on the picture for a better view)

Besides, she orally inform me that the pay is RM120 per day.
One day before the work, the girl called and say "tomorrow please wear a black tank top, t-shirt is not ready". A changed in outfit, i'm kinda flexible, so i was okay with it.

Ended up, the working hours also changed, from 11AM-9PM to 10AM-10PM. crazy right?
but i still bare with it, without saying a thing.

On the last day, the person in charge promised us to give us an additional 10% bonus, because we reached the total data collected.

SO TOTAL PAY SHOULD BE RM396.
ps. i didn't fail math.

The person in charge somemore told us we will receive our pay in two weeks.
BUT ENDED UP, i received my pay yesterday which is 2 weeks away from the day he promised i will receive my pay, and the total amount the transferred to me was RM330. Of course, i wasn't happy (will you be happy?), so i called her and ask why is it only RM330? NOT RM390?

and she give me excuse like "because you all didn't wear our t-shirt, so your pay is only RM100/day"
of course, i'm mad (who wouldn't be? it stated clearly in the forum!)
and i said something like "you asked us to wear our own tank top, and the uniform is not ready definitely not our fault, you promised us RM120 per day"
It was almost 10pm, so i excused her, and asked her to check with her superior the next morning.

So today i called again, FOR JUSTICE! lol
and they say..
"oh.. we checked with the finance department, promoters should be only RM100, RM120 should be for those who have special attire"

i replied,
"You asked us to wear tank top, isn't it more special than promoters' so called t-shirt?"

and they started giving me all kind of excuses like
"RM120 is for those who wear cosplay costume...but that time our costume wasn't ready yet" (LOOK BACK AT THE PICTURE, IT WAS CLEARLY STATED THERE RM120, T-SHIRT PROVIDED!)
"Actually you Penang girls have extra RM30 bonus, other stated girls get nothing.."
"This is not our fault, this is the middle person who posted the job's fault.."
"It can be counted/assumed as RM110/day since you receive RM330.."

Then i patiently listen to all their stories and excuses, and i said
"since your company is so big why not just file in a report?"
and they replied me,
"there is no use, this is just a small matter (YEAH RIGHT SMALL MATTER!), our company probably wouldn't care "

continuing with "we can't do anything, the only thing we can do is just to apologize to you" OF COURSE I DIDN'T LET THEM JUST GO LIKE THIS
i said " alright, since you can't help me, and i'm not happy, i think i should just take all these evidence and file in a report"
and she rudely say "ok then"
so we hung up.

Few minutes later, a guy from the same company called, and said
"we are really sorry for this misunderstanding, i don't think this problem is that serious, i feel it is not a need to do so (file in a report), i hope we can solve this problem, i will bank in another RM30 (to make my pay equivalents to RM120/day, no bonus) from myself, hope you won't take this issue too seriously. "

(this conversation was carried out in mandarin, so it could be a little different from the Mandarin version, as my mandarin is kinda poor.)
IS THIS A SCAM? OR SOMEONE IN BETWEEN "EAT UP" OUR RM20?

Since he already helped and agreed to pay me 120/day, i will not reveal this company's name in my blog/public.
